..(9) how IMPORTANT is EDUCATION..

…education is VERY important.

Nelson Mandela;

Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.

Aristotle;

It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.

John F. Kennedy;

A child miseducated is a child lost.

Victor Hugo;

He who opens a school door, closes a prison.

Robert Frost;

Education is the ability to listen to almost anything without losing your temper or your self-confidence.

Margaret Meadren;

Child must be taught how to think, not what to think.

Robin Cook;

Education is more than a luxury; it is a responsibility that society owes to itself.

Enough said.

  1. You´re right on this, being educated is key in life. The worst thing in life is ignorance. On the other hand as a former university drop out, I don´t see the correlation between getting an education a.k.a university to being an educated person and still be able to succeed in life.(although success is quite relative, for each person is a different definition) I´ve seen plenty of people without any formal education succeed like one family member. He is what you call a self made man.

    Great post, great quotes. Great blog overall !

    • ..I agree that education should never be equalized to how high up the chain you go in the academic ladder BUT then again the higher you go, the more enlightened you become which really should be our focus. As we say – information is and (in my opinion) will always be power.

      Thank you very much for stopping by. I hope to see more of you..

      • Information is the key in life. You also have to know how to distil the information when we are constantly bombarded by it, in human relationships, work, everything in life is information. Then there is desinformation and the knowledge and more educated you are the better chance you have to see that.
